TECSA was delighted to announce that on 10th June 2020, Sir Rupert Jackson chaired a discussion on Covid-19 claims under the jCT and NEC forms of contract. Zoe de Courcy Arbiser of Pinset Masons put forward the contractor’s arguments, while Stuart Thompson of Mills & Reeve set out the employer’s position. Attendees had the chance to act as the decision maker under each contract and to decide whether the contractor was entitled to time and money for its Covid-19 claim. Finally, Sir Rupert shared his thoughts on Covid-19 claims. The TECSA event started at 6:00 pm and lasted for approximately an hour.
